Minutes of the Palomar Mountain Planning Organization Meeting

The PMPO Board meeting was convened 10:20 A.M. November 8, 1997, The minutes of the April 19, May 24, July 26, and Sept 6, 1997, meetings were approved.
The treasurer, Halcie Clark, was absent due to illness. The current balance is $6,562.18. Expenses have been $2,500 to Forest Preservation Society of Southern California and $20.00 for U.S. Postal Service annual box rental. Income has included donations of $50 from Young and $150 from Jones. The board approved reimbursing Jack Norvall for his expenses in travel to Sacramento researching the Dual Survey boundary problem.
No current action known.
Jack Norvall has obtained copies of the original "patents" (government documents conveying title to previously public land). Jack is to meet with surveyor Patrick Brown to review the patents and other new information. Jack is also to meet with Bob Thicksten to draft a letter to the Palomar residents alerting them of the boundary issue and its importance to them.
