Minutes of the Palomar Mountain Planning Organization Meeting

The PMPO Board meeting was convened 12:22 P.M. May 23, 1998, immediately following the Annual Meeting, at the Palomar Mountain Lodge. The Board welcomed new member Robert F. Sterner, Jr., M.D.
Board officers were elected as follows: Chair: Bruce Graves, Vice-Chair: Robert Thicksten, Treasurer: Debbie Bauer, Secretary: Michael Pique. The minutes of the March 21, 1998, meetings were distributed. One correction was noted: for new letter from the US Forest service substitute new letter from Mr. James to the US Forest Service. The minutes were approved as corrected.
The treasurer, Debbie Bauer, reported our current assets as $7,131.25 in bank account and $5,000 on retainer to Hatch & Parent attorneys. Expenses since March 1998 have been $323.55 (Premier Image, boundary adjustment letter), $333.31 (Premier Image, annual newsletter), $256.00 (postage, annual newsletter). Income since March 1998 has been $1,765 in donations.
The board authorized expenditure of an additional $1,000 for travel and research expenses of Jack Norvall and Bruce Graves.
The next scheduled board meetings are August 1 and November 14, 1998.
